This is a Repurposed Vintage Railroad lantern manufactured by the Dressel Railway Lamp Works of New York and Chicago. These lanterns were typically used for signaling by railway personnel during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Converted 4-way railroad switch target marker light lamp.

This original Dressel Railroad Lantern has been converted into a lamp/ light fixture. It features 2 red and 2 amber glass fixtures and a 15 watt light blub. The lantern has been painted in a flat black paint and does show signs of paint loss and original metal break down (rusted out areas) of the lantern around the light holes, consistent with the age of the item. This converted railroad lantern is a great piece for any train enthusiast to add to their collection.

MEASUREMENT- Approx. 13 1/2" tall

CONDITION- Used vintage condition. The lantern has been painted in a flat black paint and does show signs of paint loss and original metal break down (rusted out areas) of the lantern around the light holes, consistent with the age of the item. The glass lenses do have wiggle room in the lantern, and they may bot be original to the lantern. (please see photos for reference).
